The Shipibo tribe is native to Peru and continues their shamanistic cultural traditions to this day. They are the guardians of the sacred ayahuasca plant, from which they derive their healing energies. Each piece is unique and the sacred geometrical design is generated during sessions with the sacred plant. Each piece takes between 2-6 months from start to finish to make. The cotton is native and processed with Copaiba roots and mud from the Ucayali River to obtain it’s characteristic color. This piece is infused with prayerful intentions and healing energies, in the center piece is an image of the Ayuhuasca plant.
